It comes as no surprise that most Flamers think Keppiehed is a fantastic editor. She is always on time (if not drastically early!), cheerful, thorough, helpful, and any number of other adjectives. What's more, she's been known to pick up extra edits, longer pieces, genres and formats out of her comfort zone, and basically take anything you throw at her and edit it. More than once, I've assigned her more edits than her official preferences say she'll take, but she always tells me not to worry - she's glad to go above and beyond! Thank you for embodying Awesome Flame Editing, Keppie!
All of the editors who were nommed made a good showing in the poll, but Thorarosebird was right on Keppie's heels, and for all of the same reasons. So congratulations to you, too, Thora, and a huge thank you to all of our editors!
Keppiehed
With her prowess at editing, it may come as no surprise that Keppiehed is also wonderful at leaving feedback - but the sheer volume of feedback she leaves every week is nothing if not superhuman! Some days, the voting poll goes up, and I start reading immediately - only to find that Keppie has already left long and thoughtful comments on half of the entries. There is no doubt that she has a time machine stored away somewhere to get to them so quickly. Or perhaps she doesn't need a machine to manipulate time - what exactly is a "keppie hed" anyway?
Leticiae
Finding one's footing in a new community always takes a certain amount of time, especially with the underdog component of a comm that's been established for a while, but one person has done exactly that with a large amount of skill. Leticiae has written steadily and paid attention to the advice of readers and editors - and it shows! Always sending us helpful comments on community improvement, Leticiae's hard work in making the community even more awesome is paying off in this recognition.

Clearly Keppie is involved is a large number of things all over the Flame - editing, reading/commenting/voting, participating in chatter posts, and generally being awesome with suggestions to moderators and members alike. Keppie's name cropped up all over the NOMs, and for good reason; you can't stop her from taking up new endeavors and spreading her magic all over the Flame. Thank you, keppie, for doing all that you do for us!
Hwango
Lo! On the horizon, what could that be? Is it ... why, I think it could be ... a HWANGO! Hwangos are very rare creatures, found usually in the comedy region, contemplating the risks of being found by Cthulu and perfecting plans for his underground lair. Always eliciting a good chuckle from his observers, hwangos set people off-guard with unusual settings and unlikely scenarios. Recognizing this particular hwango gives us great pleasure, and we wish him the best of luck with his cult.
Belluminabyssus
It was a dark and stormy night, and belluminabyssus was generating another brilliant piece ... probably. Maybe she was eating popcorn. Whatever. We'll leave the dramatics to her! Bellumina took the community completely by storm when she joined us, winning two consecutive months; we are now thrilled to give further recognition to her efforts. Well done, bell -- keep us on the edge of our seats a little longer, yeah?
Bardiphouka
Runners-Up: Katden & Raven_Tiger
Never cross poetic pens with someone who has "bard" in their name. Bardiphouka is, without doubt, a poet of unparalleled prowess (tox note: see thar? Alliteration, wut). From powerful use of structure (or non-structure) to words so precisely used as to grip the heart of every reader, Bardi is definitely a talent no one should miss.
There's a reason both katden and raven_tiger follow in very closely on bardiphouka's heels. Both are phenomenal poets in their own rights, each possessing a unique and easily identifiable style. Katden is a master of the subtle aspects, using understatement and beautiful, fluid wording to lead the reader through. raven_tiger often times blurs the line between poetry and prose, creating a prosetry style that is distinctly hers. No one does raw, bleeding emotion in poetic form like our very own raven_tiger. Her ability to cram so much emotion into only a few words and her powerful use of imagery are two of the many reasons why she is the amazing poet she is.
Hwango & Toxic_Apiaceae
Breaking News: Cults erupt all over the Flame! Led by Hwango and Toxic_Apiaceae, these cults are encouraging authors everywhere. The internet faces a rash of short stories in the coming weeks as backlash. No reporters have yet been able to determine if these two are working together or leading rival cults as they take over writing communities. Moderators of Brigits_Flame community have been cited as grateful that Toxic is at least one of them; one believes that "as long as we keep letting Hwango be funny, maybe he'll work for us, too."
Toxic_Apiaceae & Jewelsverne
Jewelsverne WILL make a million dollars someday. Now, whether it's done through writing or just being flat out charming is another story. Jewels is certainly talented, but more than that she has a natural charisma and character that draws people to her. All she has to do to make that quick million is bottle essence du Jewels and sell that to every businness person in the world -- for twelve low monthly payments of $49.99, of course.
Meanwhile, Tox is probably using her cult to make her million. Don't get sucked in by her daily dues! Or if you do, at least demand a daily word count in return - and to be made into some sort of awesome character in her novels.
